CONTEST DETAILS
New for 2026-27 school year, Malcolm X students are invited to submit designs. The winning design will be printed on t-shirts and sweatshirts. The top 3 vote getters receive a free shirt!
DESIGN & SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- Designs must include the words “Malcolm X Elementary School” as well as the year “2027,” and should be a maximum of 3 ink colors.
- Fabric can be any color, so consider it part of the design!
- Only one submission per student.
- No A.I.
Email submissions to tshirtcontest@mxpta.org. Vector formats (.ai, .eps, .pdf) are preferred but not required. Bitmap images (.jpg, .png., .psd) should be at least 300 dpi. All designs must be submitted by midnight Monday, Oct. 12, 2026!
The fine print. By submitting an entry, the artist consents to their own original work (discouraging AI) who has all necessary rights and permissions to use included elements. The winning artist grants MX the exclusive right for the artwork to be used for school promotional materials. The contest team reserves the right to alter the winning entry to ensure that the reproductions of the images are of the best quality. No physical submissions will be returned.
