The School Site Council (SSC)
The SSC is a collaborative group of parents, staff, and school leadership committed to ensuring that family perspectives are heard . Its purpose is to elevate parent voices in support of student needs—academic, social, and emotional—so that every child at Malcolm X can thrive.

Why does the SSC need me?
Research has demonstrated that the most effective site councils, the ones that have the most positive impact on both school climate and student achievement, are diverse and representative of the whole community. So we need you and your perspective to be effective.
